Hindko Mushaira 1992 Program Description: Hindko Mushairas started in 1992 under the banner of Hindko literary society in Gulbahar, Peshawar. In these Mushairas, prominent poets of Hindko language used to participate. Noted among them were Farigh Bukhari, Sahar Mustafai, Taha Khan, Khatir Ghaznavi and others. Prominent Feature: The Hindko Tehreek started in 1992 under the title of Hindko literary society which was transformed in Gandhara Hindko Board Pakistan in late 90s.

Hindko Mushaira 1992 Program Description: Hindko literary sittings started in 1997 under the banner of Hindko literary society in Gulbahar, Peshawar. In These literary sittings prominent poets/writers used to participate. Noted among them were Dr. Elahi Bakhsh Akhtar Awan, Dr. Zahoor Awan, Dr. Khatir Ghaznavi, Farigh Bukhari, Sahir Mustafai and others. Prominent Feature: Hindko literary sittings held on weekly basis and up-till now more than 500 sittings have been held.

Classical Poets participation 1992 Description: Hindko literary/Gandhara Hindko Board promoted Hindko classic poetry. Classical poets were initiated in literary programs due to which the cause of Hindko accelerated very much. General Feature: In this picture one of the classical poets of Hindko, Ustad Ghulam Rasool Ghail participated in a literary Sittings in 1992 in Peshawar Press Club.

Promotion of youngsters 1992 Program Description: Gandhara Hindko board attracted Hindko young writers to write in Hindko Language. This slogan attracted many young writers and they opted to provide write-up in Hindko instead of other languages. Prominent Feature: These young writers produced books in Hindko literature.

Raza Hamdani, Addabi Reference 1992 Program Description: This program was held in Gulbahar, Peshawar in 1992 to pay homage to famous Hindko/Urdu intellectual Raza Hamdani. Prominent Feature: In this picture right to left are Farigh Bukhari (Late), Mukhtar Ali Nayyer (Late), Dr. Zahoor Ahmad Awan (Late) and Mr. Muhammad Zia ud Din.

Annual Hindko Mushaira 1992 Program Description: Hindko Mushairas started on monthly and annual basis for the promotion of Hindko language, Culture and its Literature. Prominent Feature: In this picture Naz Sethi (Late) is reciting his poetry while in the background are Farigh Bukhari (Late), Khatir Ghaznavi (Late) and Mukhtar Ali Nayyer (Late).

Movement starts from “A House” 1992 Program Description: Gandhara Hindko Board started its activities under the banner of Hindko Literary Society since 1992 in “A House” located in Gulbahar No. 2 which culminated into a grand Tehreek for the promotion of Hindko. Prominent Feature: In this picture Gandhara Hindko Board’s founding Chairman Dr. Zahoor Ahmad Awan (Late) is prominent amongst the participants who are Khatir Ghaznavi (Late), Farigh Bukhari (Late), Dr. Nazeer Tabassum (Late), Mukhtar Ali Nayyer (Late) and others.

Participation of Media Persons 1992 Program Description: Gandhara Hindko Board involved the media persons from the beginning, for the widely coverage of Hindko Programs and activities. Prominent Feature: In this historical picture Attiq Siddiqui, Program manager PTV, is prominent amongst Hindko writers.

Promotion of Punjabi Writers 1992 Program Description: In the Mushairas, Punjabi writers also participated and presented their poetry and prose. Prominent Feature: In this picture Punjabi writer Manzar Naqvi is prominent amongst famous Hindko writers and poets.

Addabi Reference 1992 Program Description: Adabi References were held to pay tribute to the departed writers. Prominent Feature: Under this banner more than 100 programs were held since 1992. In this historical picture the young and senior Hindko writers are prominent including Sheen-Shaukat, Mukhtar Ali Nayyer (Late), Farigh Bukhari (Late), Sahir Mustafai, Anis Hamdani, Sajid Sarhadi, Saeed Paaris, Dr. Aasim, Mujahid Ali Akbar, Zahid Ali Askar, Akmal Naeem and others.
