Homework Word Work Grid Activity: Your child should complete one grid box activity per week. Math Homework: Assigned according to our pacing guide. Reading: Read daily for 20 minutes and complete Reading Log to turn in on Friday. Passage assigned Monday. Practice passage daily to improve accuracy and fluency. Completed sheet due on Friday.

Tuesday Folders Return on Wednesday or the next school day Review all work and keep at home in a designated area Assessments will be marked with a “1,2,3, or 4”

Weekly Newsletter The weekly newsletter ‘SCOOP’ will have pertinent information valuable to you and your child. It will list homework, calendar of dates, upcoming events and helpful resources It will be emailed out every Friday. Also posted on the classroom website Please be sure to read it weekly.

Specials Our special schedule is: Day 1- Media Day 2- Music Day 3- PE Day 4- Technology Day 5 – Readers/Writers Theatre Day 6- Art Day 7 - PE ** Please make sure your child wears sneakers for P.E. ** Brings any media books back to school on our Media day.

Lunch 11:00-11:30 pm If you would like to join your child for lunch, please sign in at the office and meet them in the cafeteria. Please make sure your child has lunch money every day. Breakfast costs $1.00 and lunch costs $2.00. The office does not have the funds to purchase lunch for students who have forgotten their money.

Snacks and Drinks Please send your child with a healthy snack each day. Healthy snacks include veggies, crackers, goldfish, pretzels, fruit, etc. If you would like, you may send a water bottle (WATER ONLY PLEASE) for your child to drink at designated times during the day. They will keep their water bottles in their cubbies

Recess 2:00-2:30 pm Your child will have a snack and water break for the first 5 minutes of recess Please make sure your child is dressed appropriately for the weather and playing
