1. You will provide oversight, leadership and direction to a group of IT professionals responsible for architecting, implementing and supporting a broad range of global services and solutions (Server, Storage, Unix/Linux/Windows Operating Systems and Virtualization). This includes technical projects, operations, and/or support activities The opportunity Ensure that owned technologies are architected, deployed and maintained with high service uptime. Perform managerial activities such as associate development, coaching, resource and project planning, budget management, customer and associate relations. Work with/across global/regional/local IT teams by providing expert consultation for areas of responsibilities. Develop business cases including financials, and communicate detailed architecture recommendations needed to support business initiatives. Be the face of the Server and Storage Services to the regional IT and Business leadership. Focus on providing information related to the service offerings, the SLA’s and related metrics, and work with business partners to understand new requirements and their impacts on the services provided. To join our team you will need: Education: Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, Business Administration or related discipline is required. Master’s Degree is preferred Languages: Fluency in English. French, Luxembourgish, and German language skills are a distinct advantage Experience: Minimum of seven years’ experience in Information Technology. A solid background in Hosting services (Server and Storage) and related technologies is desirable. Minimum of 3 years’ experience formally leading a team of more than 5 team members with responsibilities for development plans, performance reviews, and mentoring through challenging situations. Skills & Qualifications: Ability to translate business needs into IT solutions and technologies. Demonstrable knowledge of good architecture/design/deployment practices in hosting services (Server and Storage). Excellent communication skills, customer-oriented mindset and ability to build strong professional relationships. Very good argumentation and presentation skills. Demonstrable ability to develop people; organize, prioritize and manage work for the team. Strong team player with excellent relationship skills.
