1. Glucocorticoids: Synthesis of glycogen 2. Mineralocorticoids : Metabolism of minerals 3. Gonadocorticoids: Development of sex gland, gonads, secondary sex characters. 4. Epinephrine: Increases heart rate, blood pressure and decreases urine production. 5. Norepinephrine : Maintains normal blood pressure.

Thymus Gland It situated in the upper part of the chest made up of two lobes Thymosin : Formation of lymphocyte and antibody and deposition of minerals in the bones.

Islets of Langerhans 1.Insulin: Decreases the glucose level in blood 2. Glucagon: Increasing the glucose level in blood. 3. Somatostatin : Inhibits the alpha and beta cells of pancreas.

Pineal Gland It is located in the thalamus of the brain. Oval structure. Melatonin : Influences sleep-wake cycle, skin color of body.
