facts The amazon is a home to 427 mammals, 1,300 birds, and 400 amphibians. It is a home to 3000 fruits that are actually Edible! The amazon is the largest rainforest In the world it is 5.5 MILLION km big! 2

Milk frog It can grow to 2.5 to 4 inches. It spends almost its entire life In the treetops it rarely stays on The ground. it is a meat eater 1 hour after sunset milk frogs start to produce Calls to attract female they can produce 4.000 calls Per night.

jaguar Jaguars are the Third largest cats in the whole world and the Largest of south America’s big cats their fur is usually tan Or orange with black spots called rosettes because they Are shaped like roses jaguars live alone and mark their Territory with their waste or by clawing trees

Clear winged butterfly Clear winged butterflies enjoy the tasty nectar of flowers Clear winged butterflies are also called glass winged butterflies Veins appear like webs on the butterflies wings they do not add Much colour to the wings they typically look brown males Congregate in large groups when it’s time to mate

Tree frog They eat insects like crickets they feed other small frogs They live near ponds, streams and Also rivers. Male frogs grow up to 2cm And 3-4 cm for females! When it sleeps it hides its sharp colours but if it runs from predators it shows them to confuse or disinterest the predator

sloth It can take a slow moving sloth a month to digest just ONE MEAL! Baby sloths move slower than adult sloths Sloths are among the slowest creatures on earth! Baby sloths nurture with their mums for about 6 Months.

lizard It is possible for a lizard to lose its tale when it feels that it is in danger but the tail will grow back again There are species of lizards with very small legs or no legs at All they are often mistaken by snakes Lizard are able to smell by tasting the air around them
