I am surprised by the state of a Muslim man, for any of God’s decrees in his regard is a blessing. Whether he is torn into pieces with scissors or he is the master of east and west, it would be a blessing for him.” Imam Ja’far Al-Saadiq (a.s.), has said,

“Du’aa brings answers with it in the same way that clouds bring rain.” Imam Ja’far Al-Saadiq (a.s.), has said,

Four things of which little is much: Fire, enmity, poverty, and illness. Imam Ja’far Al-Saadiq (a.s.), has said,

The noble man should not turn up his nose at four (things): 1.his standing from his sitting for his father, 2.his service for his guest, 3.taking care of his riding animal even if he has a hundred slaves, and 4.his service for his teacher. Imam Ja’far Al-Saadiq (a.s.), has said,

The desire for the worldly pleasures causes grief and sadness. Abstinence from the worldly pleasures brings about peace of mind and heart and also the body. Imam Ja’far Al-Saadiq (a.s.), has said,

"Our intercession will not be extended to the one who is careless in performing prayers." Imam Ja’far Al-Saadiq (a.s.), has said,

"Be benevolent to your father and mother so that your children may as well be benevolent to you." Imam Ja’far Al-Saadiq (a.s.), has said,

"Pray to God that your sustenance does not lie in the hands of people." Imam Ja’far Al-Saadiq (a.s.), has said,

The Silent Da'wa "I advise you to be heedful of Allah, to render the trust to those who had trusted you with it, to treat well those in your company, and be the ones who will do the Silent Da'wa [Callers] for us."

Advice to Khalifa Al ‑ Mansoor "Have forbearance, for it is the foundation of wisdom [knowledge]. Control yourself when the power is in your hand; Bear in mind that if you punish a person who deserves punishment, you will simply be characterized as being just; Yet, the state of clemency is more praiseworthy and superior to the state of punishment demanded by justice. عليك بالحلم فإنه رُكن العلم، واملك نفسك عند أسباب القُدرة........

Select Sayings about Demeanor Never delay the repentance for the sins. The person who longs for the wealth of others will die in want. The person who remains content with the will of Allah is always happy. Do not be a party in the disputes of fools; otherwise you will lose your composure. Never go near troublesome waters lest you get involved. The person who visits places of ill ‑ repute will get a bad name for himself.

Some Attributes Select Sayings about Some Attributes The person who is free of three attributes gets three merits: The one who is free of evil, gets glory, The one who is free of arrogance, gets nobility, and The one who is free of avarice, gets honor. Three attributes bring about abhorrence: hypocrisy, vanity, and oppression. The plight of the Deen lies in envy, vanity, and vainglory. Three types of people will have nothing but good lot: Those who prefer not to engage in vain talk, Those who avoid evil deeds, and Those who keep Allah in their minds very often.

Some Qualities Select Sayings about Some Qualities Stay away from contention, for it preoccupies the mind and leads to hypocrisy. The one who plants enmity will harvest its consequences. The one who does not contain his anger does not contain his reason. The person who gives excuses to an oppressor for his oppression, Allah will cause someone to oppress that person, then if he prays, his Du'aa will not be answered, nor will Allah reward him for being oppressed. The one who has reason, has a religion [Deen]. And he who has Deen [follows the religious life] will enter Paradise. Hope for good from Allah and whatever He does consider it as His wisdom. He gives wings to even ants if he desires so.

إن الله وملائكته يصلون على النبي يا أيها الذين آمنوا صلوا عليه وسلموا تسليما

على محمد وال محمد الهم صل
