Significant Accomplishments Conducted 15 Alcoholic Beverage Control operations for compliance Recruited and hired (4) new police officers Added a Motor Officer to the Traffic Division Added a mental health and Children and family services worker to our staff Completed the 3 – 5 year strategic plan Created a mentor program for all new employees Organized citywide Active Shooter training Social Media-Created PD Facebook page, twitter account and Instagram account

Goals and Objectives Organize and schedule quarterly block watch captain meetings Reach a goal of 100 citizen Block Watch Captains in the Neighborhood Watch Program Conduct “senior citizen” workshops for crime prevention Expand the Public Safety Officer Program into the Azalea shopping complex and South Gate business district Create a “business watch” program for local businesses Recruit and hire 8 police officers

Goals and Objectives Provide for a safe community and promote police conduct that is responsive and sensitive to the needs of the community Work with local and state legislatures on public safety issues Complete the expansion of the Emergency Operations Center Complete the construction of the training and wellness center Complete the Body Worn Camera pilot program
