FRUIT AND VEGETABLES How much should we have a day? 5 Portions per day!

FATS AND SUGARS Cakes, biscuits, pastry, sweets, chocolates. These will give you energy, but are not good for you in lots of ways – tooth decay, fat around your heart.

Balanced diet A balanced diet should contain fats, proteins and carbohydrates in roughly these amounts: It should also contain water, vitamins, minerals and fibre.
