3 Play HARD (Grit) Mental/Physical toughness Conditioning: Willingness to pay the physical price necessary to achieve your goals Perseverance- The hard work we do after we are tired of working hard Belief in their ability to improve through their own hard work and training in our program Play FAST Technique- allows the total use of talent for you to win against physically superior opponents. Understanding of scheme Honor the direct connection between details and improved performance Rely on preparation not “try harder”: We will win with technique, fundamentals, and our team focus. Play TOGETHER Honor the team: Great teams aren’t made by talent, they are forged through a shared commitment to a team goal. Personal accountability Positive language “It is everyone’s job to make everyone better”

5 You want to be a part of a CHAMPIONSHIP TEAM Team Concept – For you to be a champion, we must be champions. Consistent work habits – Doing your best must be a priority. You want to be the best athlete you can be. Attitude (Good talent + bad attitude = bad talent) Enthusiasm Drive and determination You want to be the best person and teammate you can be. Leadership Care and concern for others Trust and loyalty Good Character Honesty Integrity Responsible Dependable Disciplined

6 100% success in the classroom Grade checks Tutorials: We will have mandatory tutorials one morning a week starting in the fall. Commitment to teammates-You are accountable to your teammates for your grades Do Things Right (Setting standards not quoting rules) Discipline plan- Position coach, head coach, athletic director Be on time, do what’s right, or be held accountable COMMIT to your teammates and your coaches. (Trust) Finish Finish every rep of every play of every practice every day! Finish your responsibilities to the team to make your goals a reality. Don’t just do what you think is expected of you, do all that you know you can do.

9 All players are expected to attend team activities during the summer when they are in town including: Speed & Strength Camp 7 on 7 League Play Middle School Camp Freshman Summer Camp IMPORTANT SPRING/SUMMER DATES June 13 th – First day of Speed/Strength Camp July 25 th - First day of Middle School Camp August 1 st – First day of Freshman Camp August 8 th – First day of high school practices August 22 nd – First day of Middle School Practice

13 What is it? Opportunity for Prosper High School football coaches to work with incoming 3 rd -6 th graders on football drills and fundamentals. When is it? 15 August 22 nd – First day of school, first day of middle school practice Equipment will be issued: Thursday, August 18 th 8 th Graders: 8:00 – 9:30 AM 7 th Graders: 9:30 – 11:00 AM 7th Grade – before school & 1st period In season–6:45 am (doors open 6:30am) MPF 8th Grade – after school & 8th period 2:55-4:45pm (pick up 5:00pm) MPF Students are required to travel to and from athletic competition
