2 Maths Our philosophy. We aim for children to:  become fluent in the fundamentals of mathematics and apply knowledge rapidly and accurately  reason mathematically  be able to solve problems by applying their mathematics  take ownership of their own learning

4 Ways to support your child’s maths at home:  Sing counting and number rhymes/songs  Count different objects in groups; 2s, 5s and 10s  Play games (e.g. snakes and ladders, dominoes, dice games, card games, logic and reasoning)  Cooking – measuring out ingredients  Practise telling the time (analogue and digital) Maths
