Goals of Conference Strategy Meeting the goals to: 1. Establish IEEE as the premier place where people want to present, discuss, and publish new results 2. Maintain decentralized management of individual conferences with centralized oversight/ repositories and optional support services 3. Ensure continued success by managing the revenue stream 4. Invent the conference of the future 5. Assess opportunities for conference mergers and acquisitions 6. Maintain a focus on strategic directions for conferences
