8 www.aal-europe.eu TECHITALY, EP, Brussels, September 25th, 2014 KEY INDICATORFINDINGS Industry as leader of AAL projects On average, 40% of projects are industry led SME participation > 40% SME participation in funded projects (receiving 49% of the grant funding available) Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) secured ~ 50% of the projects have already secured the IPR for the results arising from the projects Financing secured for going to the market after the project end 25% of the projects covered by the survey have already secured financing to go to market AAL related products and services emerging in the market There are many AAL projects intending to deliver new ICT products and services to the market Survey on emerging evidence of impacts
