5. 4 ▣ Scholarship 1. Research-aid Scholarship(50% Tuition Fee Remission) - Every semester, you should apply for research-aid scholarship in Graduate School Office if you are research-aid scholarship student. 2. Excellent Record Scholarship(33% Tuition Fee Remission) - You don’t have to apply for this scholarship every semester. Automatically, this scholarship is applied to 2 nd /3 rd /4th semester. - Caution: Students who receive this scholarship should maintain their GPA(Grade Point Average) 3.5 or better. Scholarship

6. 5 ▣ Issuance of Foreign Registration Card ❏ PICK-UP DATE: IN THE END OF September(Changeable) * New students should visit immigration office for fingerprinting. Please, wait until further notice. FYI, Chosun University will charter a bus to visit immigration office. IMMIGRATION

7. 6 ▣ Visa Extension(D2) Documents for submission : Application Form, A copy of Passport, Foreign Registration Card, Certificate of Enrollment, Transcript, Tuition Payment Certificate, Bank Statement (13,000,000 won or more), Visa Extension fee(60,000 won) * Students who live outside: Housing Contract * Submission Place: International Office ▣ Caution! Be sure to check your expiration date of your visa. Prior to termination, you should apply for visa extension. 8. 7 ▣ Visa Extension for students who finished(=completed) coursework International students who completed the whole coursework in Graduate School, but don't get degrees could extend up to 3 years for Master's and 5 years for PhD courses. Immigration office will not allow students to extend visa any more after 3 years for Master's and 5 years for PhD course. So, please try to get your degree within the designated visa extension period. IMMIGRATION

16. 15 ▣ Dormitory ▣ Apply for Dormitory application every semester if you want to live in dormitory.(Application Period: June and December) ▣ When you retire dormitory, we should return your room key and ask deposit money(20,000 won/30,000 won) if you did not damage dormitory furnishings. ▣ When you find out a housing outside, you should change your address In Dong-gu office or immigraton with your housing contract. 17. 16 ▣ In case you change your house (Dormitory -> living outside /Living a house outside -> living another house outside) ▣ When you change your house, you should report to immigration office or Dong-gu office within 2 weeks. Otherwise, you should pay a fine from immigration. ▣ This rule is applied to Passport change. If you renew your passport, visit Immigration within 2 weeks(not Dong-gu office). ▣ Be careful not to forget to report to Immigration within 2 weeks about your address or passport change. 18. 17 If you change your address in Dong-gu office, You cannot change in Dong-gu office anymore. You should visit Immigration within 2 weeks. First Address: when you make Foreign Registration card first. Second Address: When you move to another house Third Address: There is no space to fill in.
