What effect does it have on the earth? Gold Getting gold requires mining. Mining is the process of extracting metals and minerals from the earth. It has a negative impact on the earth because it requires large amounts of land to be cleared. So there’s a lot of deforestation. Vegetation and other lands also have to cut so they can make residential facilities and roads that lead to the mining area. Natural Gas Natural gas is the cleanest and most efficient fossil fuel there is! Using natural gas instead of other fossil fuels gas emissions are reduced by as much as 50 percent.

The effect of the use of these resources on organisms. Mining is necessary in order to get gold. So getting gold bad to organisms that love around the mining areas because they have to cut down all the trees where the organisms live. So it’s a loss of habitat to the animals that live there. Breathing natural gas is harmful to your health.
