Louis being interviewed by a remarkably handsome Christian Slater, telling his story Louis had lost his wife and child, and wished to die Tom Cruise, Lestat, turned him into a vampire Louis, initially torn about killing, eats only animals He eventually succumbs to his cravings, ultimately killing a little girl, who Lestat turns into a vampire, Claudia Lestat and Louis raise Claudia for 30 years Claudia cannot age, gets upset, tries to kill Lestat Louis and Claudia flee to Paris, meet other vampires Louis likes Armand, Armand kills Claudia, Louis leaves Armand Louis goes back to the states, finds Lestat Christian Slater wants to be turned, this upsets Louis, who leaves Lestat shows up, bites Christian Slater, end movie SUMMARY
