The Contract Elements Infotype stores data related to the employee’s employment contract (e.g. Casual, term, or probationary). 4.What is the Probationary Period? The Probationary Period is the length of time the employee will remain in the contract type specified. Time periods can exist in Days, Weeks, Months or Years (e.g. 120 days).

Employment percent represents the % of time the employee works. For example, if the employee works full-time or is an hourly employee, then their percentage is 100%. If the employee is a salaried employee or a Teacher and works part-time, then their percentage is 01-99%.

Change to Appointment Type – Job Share Owner Cont’d u The two key infotypes that must be maintained during this action are: –Planned Working Time – a job share work schedule must be chosen for all non-teaching employees (JH – Hourly, JS – Salary). Note: for Teaching employees the percentage must be changed –Basic Pay – verify the capacity utilization level and work hours(days) per period reflect the new planned working time u It is important to note that a Change to Appointment Type action may impact the employee’s entitlement to quotas and benefits.
