1. New Mexico Wing Mountain Flying Course April 10, 2010

2. Course Objectives Provide a foundation for CAP pilots to fly safely in mountainous terrain. The primary emphasis of this clinic will be on practical applications of mountain flying. Flight Operations will be limited to topographical surveys and analysis in preparation for subsequent Mission Pilot Training.

3. Inbound Flight Operations Inbound crews for the clinic will locate and photograph the selected topography from a sectional area designated sectional area Provide at least two photos that cover the area from a 90-degree perspectives). Each crew must provide the appropriate cable for their camera to a USB port for downloading the pictures.

4. Outbound Flight Operations Overfly and photograph the same areas from a different perspective and submit a brief written summary of the terrain they surveyed.
