Energy-Energy is defined as the capacity for activity or the exertion of power Trough-The lowest part of a wave. Crest- The highest part of a wave. Amplitude- One half the distance between a wave’s crest and its trough. Sound-Is a kind of energy that moves in waves. Summarizing strategy-Before we move on to Social Studies, in your science notebooks, write one complete sentence about what you learned in Science today.

Social Studies-8:33-9:30 Essential Question- How did the geography of Greece influence the development of its culture and economy? Today students we will watch a brain pop video on Athens Greece. We will use a graphic organizer to help organize our thoughts. Remember to write in complete sentences. When you have finished pull out your library book and read silently until everyone has finished. We will discuss our work as a whole group. Summarizing Strategy- before we transition, get your Social Studies notebook, and write one complete sentence telling me what you learned in Social Studies today.
