Sorting! 1. In your envelopes you will find 25 cards. 2. Your job is to arrange the cards on top of your grid outline in your book. 3. You must be able to justify why you have positioned each card where you have on the grid. 4. When you have finished, simply note the numbers of the cards onto your grid and put the cards back into the envelop. It might look something like… It might look something like…

Thinking about thinking! Blue hat thinking…gets you to think about HOW you think! In your books, answer the following questions: 1.Briefly explain how you have decided where to put the 25 cards onto the grid; describe your decision making process. 2.What problems did you encounter? 3.Look back at your sorting, did you arrange the cards as if the hurricane had hit a developed / rich county? What evidence is there to support this in your sorting? Why do you think you did this? 4. Explain what differences you would need to make to your sorting, if the hurricane hit a less developed/poor county?
