5 Ag. Farm Contracts, Pen Rent, & Pen Assignments All students housing livestock on the farm must complete and return a farm contract Pen Rent is Currently Free of Charge Cattle, Hog, Lamb & Goat Pens will be assigned. Please be familiar with contract, expectations, & consequences No Premium Checks will be issued until Ag Farm is completely cleaned and all items such as feeders, clippers, equipment etc… checked out or owed to the club have been returned or settled. Must attend all scheduled Ag. Farm Clean Up Days! Students must tend to his / her animal project on a daily basis, failure to do so will result in removal of animal project. Discard of animal waste in proper areas (Dumpster) Last Person Must Lock the GATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

7 FFA Membership Dues Students may exhibit animal projects and compete on LDE & CDE Teams Students receive subscription to the FFA New Horizons, the member magazine of the National FFA Organization Students are eligible for chapter, state, and national scholarships and awards. Feb. 11 th – Feb. 28 th, 2016 Open to the State San Antonio, TX Small% of animals make the premium auction Will not be available to haul and attend one out of the 3 weeks, usually the Market Week. Market Price for Market Animals is set and determined by the current market value and the Stock Show NOT LA JOYA I.S.D. nor the ADVISOR!!!!! Misc. $25.00 Investment Approx. $150.00 - $200.00 Shop Projects are and excellent way to learn skills that will last for a lifetime and is an excellent way to make $$$$$$$$$ at the auction on Sunday ( the last day) @ the RGVLS. Shop Projects must Qualify for the Auction!!!

18 End of the Year Banquet The end of the year banquet is a celebration and recognition of the years’ accomplishments. Parents are invited to a catered meal and program that is put on by the members of the Juarez – Lincoln FFA. This event is the highlight of the year and a time for the members & parents to reflect and enjoy!!

19 Club Fundraisers Corn in a Cup, Sausage on a Stick Sales @ the Varsity Home Games Fresh Country Cookie Sales

20 S.A.E. Fundraiser This event is designed for Juarez – Lincoln FFA Members who want assistance in the following: * Help in purchasing your Animal Show Project (S.A.E.) * Help in purchasing feed, supplements, supplies etc… for your animal (S.A.E.) * Help in purchasing materials for your Shop Project (S.A.E.) * Help in purchasing materials for your Ag. Science Fair Project (S.A.E.) Proceeds raised by this fundraiser are for the items mentioned above ONLY!!!!! Each Student will have an account for the amount they have to spend according to the amount of tickets sold, the student will have to turn in an invoice in order to purchase that Pre Approved Item. All Proceeds that are used for the above items must be Approved by the ADVISOR, MR. Perez!! This fundraiser will be sponsored by the Juarez – Lincoln FFA Booster Club. Fundraising Ideas are the following: Brisket, Chicken, Plate Sales Example $7.00 - $4.00 = $3.00 Profit / Ticket $7.00 Price of the Plate $4.00 Cost to make Plate $3.00 Profit / Ticket Sold
