How we made a difference… ●Helped out and were buddies for the students, helped students develop social skills ●Raised awareness and money for the school through selling bookmarks and telling about our experience ●For Midlothian high school, students in general education art classes started to make bookmarks. ●Art teachers at Midlothian high school want to be more involved for Autism Awareness Month 2017. ●Helped raise over $30.00 to donate towards Midlothian high school’s special olympics team. ●Raised $164.00 for Manchester’s special education department that they will use for future outings to promote positive social skills ●Relationships between students with autism and general education peers evolved.
