4 Managing Yourself Communication – Keep your channels organized and sorted – Check them regularly (set them up on all your devices) Schedules – To-do list and calendar – Time management Know your limits – Delegate – Don’t take on too many things – Sleep (because you’re still human) Set your priorities straight.

10 Managing Your Team Tasks – Delegate and specify their jobs – Leniency vs. accountability – Guidance (especially they are new to the task) Communication – Meetings – Emails and newsletters and team calendars People & Team Structure – Know your team & team structure - who are the decision makers? – Is everyone on the same page? Unity? Inclusion? – Work harder than your people, be more passionate than your people; you are the role model Set expectations.

13 Activity Includes: Project management, contingency planning, and conflict resolution Instruction: (1) Draw a card to determine your role, (2) Roll the dice, (3) Get the card that corresponds with the number on the board, (4) Read the words on the card out loud, (5) Solve the problem together based on your roles Rules – When you roll 1 or 4 = take 1 step – When you roll 2 or 5 = take 2 steps – When you roll 3 or 6 = take 3 steps At Kickoff and Bag & Tag – Switch role with someone else, be someone you’ve never been before!
