Supporting carers in Nottingham Importance of carers – Early intervention and prevention Many carers don’t recognise that they are carers ALL carers are entitled to an assessment of their own needs We can only offer carers assessments and support if we can find them! Support for Nottingham’s most vulnerable citizens Prevent escalation of need in the people they care for. Carers’ quality of life improved through early identification, assessment and support. We can often find carers through the patients they care for.
