Qualify to take NMC courses – ACT scores – NMC COMPASS test Place into ENG 111 or MTH 121 – Scores may vary based on program Math21 or higher Reading19 or higher English18 or higher

Apply to NMC Meet with high school counselor Complete NMC application online Attach test scores to application Request transcript sent to NMC Pay one-time $20 application fee Print and complete forms: – Enrollment Approval form – Tuition Authorization form

Orientation/Registration Required by NMC and valuable information is provided Students will meet with an NMC advisor and register for approved courses Register online for an orientation after receiving acceptance email from NMC May 7 th or May 27

Grades & Credit 3 or 4 credit NMC course =.5 credit at high school Grades earned at NMC are reflected on high school transcript Students may request CR/NC on high school transcript – Submit form prior to start of class Potential NCAA Div I or II athletes are required to have grades reflected on transcript

General Information Students are responsible for selecting courses that will work with their high school schedule Dropping a class at NMC – Notify your high school counselor – Drop dates are important – Student’s responsibility to drop the course

General Information When do you pay for the class? – Dropped after 100% refund deadline – Failed with a 0.0 – Next semester you pay Students with a GPA below 2.0 – NMC academic probation – Courses will not qualify as transfer credit
