2. Information about Chequasha Warren  I was born and raised in Texas. I currently live in Austin, Texas but will be moving to the Dallas area at the end of the month. I got my bachelors degree in History from Abilene Christian University. I have a 7 year old daughter that keeps me on my toes at all times. She is the reason I have decided to follow my heart and become a History teacher. I’m currently the Clothing Manager at Target and I have been with them for 5 years now.

3. My Interest I love to listen to music My favorite color is green I love the Backstreet Boys My favorite place to shop is Victoria Secret My favorite restaurant is Olive Garden

4. Type of School I attend as a child As a child I attended public school. The one key experience that I had during school had to be when I was in 6 th grade and my English teacher made me realize that I could be a great student. All I had to do was be willing to work hard and stay focused, this really changed my view of school because before that I really did not like school.

5. Future Position Over the next year I plan to becoming a high school History. I would love to teach Government and Economics. After being a teacher for 5 years I plan to become a Counselor.

6. Discuss how you feel a masters degree will help you in your future role Getting this masters will teach me the necessary skills needed to become a wonderful teacher of the 21 st century as well as provided me with the skills I need to become a Counselor. This masters will also provided me with the information needed to relate to my students and be able to teach them beyond the classroom.
