The Future of Geraldine  We need to realize our future, but also realize our strengths  The future of Geraldine depends on a viable, sustainable co-op  Our Budget is only decreasing…  Our teacher-to-student ratio allows us to provide exceptional individualized instruction that other schools cannot match.  The strength of our community allows us to overcome these immense challenges. The support they offer will allow our school to continue to educate our students.

The Future of Geraldine  Geraldine must be in a co-op to provide students with the opportunity to participate in activities.  We need to look long term  We need to solidify a long-term commitment that will allow our community and school to plan for the next 20 years  We do not need short-term co-ops; we need long-term commitment that will allow us to build dependable programs with the younger generations in mind.  We are not far off from having to co-op all of our middle school sports  If possible we probably would this year

Highwood & Geraldine  The co-op between Highwood and Geraldine has worked out well and has been successful these many years.  However…  I worry about our budget  I worry about our travel time  I worry about travel conditions  I worry about our academic programs  I worry about our kids  I worry about the future of our school  Our only other option for an athletic co-op is with Fort Benton

Fort Benton & Geraldine the Present/Future  Potential Athletic co-ops/offerings  Football  Volleyball  Basketball  Wrestling  Tennis (Girls)  Golf  Track  Middle School Sports

Fort Benton & Geraldine the Present/Future  Potential Teacher Sharing Opportunities  The potential to share valuable resources  Spanish  FFA  Auto/Shop  Drama  Art  Pep Band  Coaches

Fort Benton & Geraldine the Present/Future  INCREASED FAMILY TIME  Calendars could be made to match up  Class schedules would accommodate practice times  Travel time would be significantly less  We can begin to build a program
