1. Water & nutrients enter roots 2. Root tubes carry mixture to stem 3. Stem tubes carry water & nutrients to leaves 4. Food is made in leaves 5. Different tubes carry food from leaves to all parts of plant

Nonvascular Plants Plants without tubes Water & food travel slowly from cell to cell Live in damp dark places Do not grow large or tall Examples: moss, liverworts
