3  1955-59: Furthered graduate studies in curriculum, social sciences, & nursing at University of Cincinnati  Directed Child Psychiatric Nursing Program as an Associated Professor  1960: Began pursuing doctoral studies  National League of Nursing Fellowship Award  1966: Completed PhD in Cultural and Social Anthropology at the University of Washington  1966-69: Held a joint appointment at the University of Colorado’s College of Nursing and Anthropology Department  Nurse Scientist Program ACADEMIC BACKGROUND (CONT.)
