1955-59: Furthered graduate studies in curriculum, social sciences, & nursing at University of Cincinnati Directed Child Psychiatric Nursing Program as an Associated Professor 1960: Began pursuing doctoral studies National League of Nursing Fellowship Award 1966: Completed PhD in Cultural and Social Anthropology at the University of Washington 1966-69: Held a joint appointment at the University of Colorado’s College of Nursing and Anthropology Department Nurse Scientist Program ACADEMIC BACKGROUND (CONT.)
