Some will resist and rebel against His way. 2 Kings 5:10, 11 You won’t get it on your own. Jer. 10:23 You must change your mind. Lk. 13:3; 1 Cor. 2:16 GOD’S WAYS ARE DIFFERENT ISAIAH 55:8, 9 They will not always mesh with human reasoning. Jsh. 6:1-5 You must accept God’s way as right. Pr. 3:5-7

Jesus commands baptism. Mt. 28:18-20 WHAT JESUS SAYS ON BAPTISM Baptism is necessary to please God. Mt. 3:13-17 Baptism is part of preaching and obeying the gospel. Mk. 16:15, 16 Jesus is an authority. Jn. 12:47-50

He does not rule with an “iron fist”. Jn. 10:11; 2-4 IT IS TIME TO STOP RESISTING Jesus has all authority. Mt. 28:18; Eph. 1:21,22 You must meekly submit to the yoke of Christ. Mt. 11:28-30

Are you ready to stop resisting? If so, there are some things you must do. Change your mind – repent. Be baptized for forgiveness of your sins. Jesus says it is necessary to please God. Jesus commands it. Jesus says it is part of obeying Him. Why not submit to the yoke of Christ tonight?
