Questions & Topics
4
Max height? ØAØA Our max ØA will be 110 mm We want to add a flange on that port. What material: titanium or stainless-steel? What length for the pipe to be extended? Is a flange type preferred? Keep the flange or cut it? Which collaborator will cut it? STFC does not have cutting capability to do this under clean conditions Helium Outlet Port on LHe Cavity Tank
5
What material: titanium or stainless- steel? CF 16 Helium Inlet Port on LHe Cavity Tank
6
There is only a Ø DN40 low particle level. No Ø DN16 version. Moreover we prefer DN40 that could be better for the vacuum aspect. Which orientation? Confirmation that the valve sealing face is towards the cavity? We want to change the orientation of the valve To make some proposal we need the final high beta design. UHV Valve on Beam-pipe
7
Is it possible to hold cavities directly and only on the beam pipe? Port flange? Supporting cavities
8
Beam pipe temperature will be measured by the same way if the experiment test results are positive. If not : Try to use these holes on beam pipes flanges. Or Find an agreement to add 2 tapped holes as closer as possible to the beam pipe on its flanges. Copper ring with high RRR strongly tight around the titanium jacket. Experiment to be performed to validate the concept. This will be only for the cavity cryo test at STFC. It will hold: Magnetic field temperature sensor Heater Concept Design of Quick Mounting Device for Sensors
