Alternative Energy In Romeo Schools Why an Alternative Energy Program in Romeo Schools? Currently, there is not an Alternative Energy program or class offered at Romeo. There are many trends showing people are interested and increasingly following through on alternative means of energy production as well as conservation. In the area of Career and Technical Education, focus on student learning of relevant curriculum, proper instruction, and assessment is vital. Alternative Energy is an extremely relevant topic, with fossil fuels existing in limited reserves, environmental concerns, and economic factors all on the forefront of the news, students need to have the opportunity to learn and understand about this growing field.

Alternative Energy In Romeo Schools Proposed Alternative Energy Budget Request $0.00 $19,000 Grant awarded from the Square One Education Network on April 12, 2011 to cover costs of materials and equipment to start Alternative Energy Program at Romeo. $122,876 Already granted and being put to use for Alternative Energy Equipment for Romeo Community Schools. (This number does not include classroom materials/ labs gathered from workshops and training classes.)

Alternative Energy In Romeo Schools Square One Education Network Grant Outline If for any reason we would be unable to fulfill the proposal due to the class not running, teacher lay-offs, or any other conflicting reason, the remaining funds must be immediately returned.
