2. Sir Ed Among all great achievers in this country I think Sir Ed should be most respected out of them all. Because he was generous in helping the Nepalese children, he built schools for them and helped them survive. I am proud of having great role models like Sir Ed in this country.

3. Our country is full of great sports people, like all our Olympic athletes that won our country 9 medals and represented our country with pride and joy. Our country has good netball, rugby, basketball and hockey teams to show all the other countries that we are in it to win it, and that we are not joking. I am proud of our sports people because they always try their best to win and be good NZders.

4. NZ is famous for 2 very special animals, the Kiwi and Tuatara. These animals are special because they have survived extinction and lived through people taking them out of their habitat. These animals are lucky to be held in captivity and to be living in New Zealand. We are referred as Kiwi because when people see N.Z they think KIWI.

5. Altogether I think that New Zealand could be the best country to live in and that all NZders should be proud of our achievements and our great role models and they should treat the country with respect.

6. I would like to thank the Lions Club for letting us participate in this competition. I am proud of our clubs and societies in N.Z because if they were not here we would not be able to do competitions. And they also give things to charity to help them survive.
