Some facts about earthquakes: *An earthquake is the result of a sudden release of energy in the Earth's crust that creates seismic waves. **Sometimes an earthquake has foreshocks. These are smaller earthquakes that happen in the same place as the larger earthquake that follows. ***When the tectonic plates collide, the earth trembles, and we called it earthquake. ****The earthquake causes damage to buildings and people are panic- stricken.

Earthquakes are an interesting subject, but they also cause a lot of damage, like: breakdown of buildings, death or injury of people, shock and trauma, And financial damage to a country where the earthquake hit. so, as you can see, earthquakes are very dangerous and they make a lot of damage.

Some facts about volcano eruption: *Volcano eruption is when hot magma, volcanic ash and gases are escape from below the surface. **There are about 1,500 active volcanoes, with 50 or so erupting each year. ***We currently know of 80 or more which are under the oceans. ****When magma erupts through the earth's surface it is called lava. *****When an eruption occurs, nearby areas may be covered with ash and red-hot lava.

Hi everybody, my name is John, and I’m an expert in volcanoes, and volcano eruption. Volcanic eruption is a phenomenon that can be very beautiful, but is also very dangerous. Anything that would be within reach of the lava, like houses and people, will be buried under the lava. So, as I told you, volcanic eruption is a beautiful and fascinating phenomenon, but is also very dangerous and causes a lot of damage to people and to another things.

Some facts about floods: *A flood results from days of heavy rain and/or melting snows, when rivers rise and go over their banks. **Flooding is the world’s most expensive type of natural disaster. The cost of global flood damage is hundreds of billions of euros. ***Floods can occur in coastal areas or close to rivers. When huge sheets of water cover low-lying areas, they can cause immense damage to property and threaten lives. ****Since 1900, floods have taken more than 10,000 lives in the United States alone. *****66 % of flood deaths occur in vehicles, and most happen when drivers make a single, fatal mistake trying to navigate through flood waters. ******95% of those killed in a flash flood try to outrun the waters along their path rather than climbing rocks or going uphill to higher grounds.

Floods drown houses, people, animals, objects and other things. If you are lucky, or if you were ready, you will be saved. Floods can be very dangerous, and to be prepared to a flood, you can search for information online, and find information that could help you.

Some facts about avalanches: *About 250,000 avalanches occur each year in the Alps, a mountain chain in Europe. **In the past ten years, France has recorded more avalanche fatalities than any other country. ***89% of avalanche victims are men and most are between the ages of 20 and 30. ****Your chances of surviving an avalanche are around 80% if you use/carry the proper equipment. Without proper equipment your survival chances are less than three percent. *****Check the conditions and the slope stability before skiing or boarding in avalanche territory.

Hi everybody, my name is Susie, and I’m an expert in avalanches. Avalanches could be very dangerous, if you are not prepared. So now, I give you some safety tips: *Never travel alone! *Always carry safety equipment! *If you get caught: try to get to the side of it, and if you can’t, grab a tree as an anchor. *If you get swept away: "Swim" with the slide to stay as close to the surface as you can. I know this sounds weird, but this could save your life. I hope that I help you!

Some facts about tornadoes: *A tornado is a violent rotating column of air extending from a thunderstorm to the ground. **In an average year, 1000 tornadoes are reported nationwide, resulting in 80 deaths and over 1,500 injuries. ***Tornadoes are also called twisters. Not to be confused with Cyclones. ****Tornadoes have been observed on every continent except Antarctica. ***** The word tornado is an altered form of the Spanish word tronada, which means "thunderstorm". ******Signs of tornadoes include a dark, often greenish sky, a Wall cloud, large hail, a loud roar; similar to a freight train.

Hi everybody, my name is Tom, and I’m an expert in Tornadoes. Tornado is an interesting phenomenon, but is also very dangerous. If you're caught in a tornado, you are in great danger. Tornado can destroy large buildings, uproot trees, And gather with people, animals and anything more. Tornado leaves behind a lot of damage and mess, and it takes a long time to reorganize what the tornado destroyed, causing a big financial loss. As you can see, tornado is an interesting and dangerous phenomenon.
