About Mrs. Marino… Graduate of the Linwood school system Graduate of University of Pennsylvania Pursuing in a Masters Degree program at Stockton Lives with husband and 3 children in Linwood Math educator for 14 years 11 years of 5 th grade experience Believes in integrating technology into the classroom Believes in a balance of computation, problem solving, and test taking strategies in mathematics Believes in a warm, friendly and respectful classroom atmosphere that rewards hard work and keeps students involved

4. Students will need Folder Pencils (No pen!) Go Math textbook and Go Math Standards Practice book

5. Grading Policy 35% Tests and Projects 30% Quizzes 20% Homework 15% Weekly Skills Practice and Ask Prep Review

6. Homework Policy Homework is assigned Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights and posted on my website. We also have a weekly assignment due Fridays. Homework accounts for 20% of a student’s math grade Missed homework handed in by Friday It will be marked down if student missed the assignment without being absent or excused from class.

7. Quiz/Test/Weekly Skills Practice We will try to have a weekly quiz. This quiz will be based upon current content and basic computation review. Tests will be announced at least 3 days in advance or more. Tests will cover each chapter in the textbook. Practice tests will be distributed or posted online. Each week we will have a Skills Practice Assignment to review our curriculum and work on open ended questions. It will be assigned Monday and due Friday.
