2. I tithe because God loves me 1 John 3:1 How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!

3. I tithe because God loves me 1 John 4:9 God showed his love for us when he sent his only Son into the world to give us life. Real love isn't our love for God, but his love for us. God sent his Son to be the sacrifice by which our sins are forgiven.

5. I tithe because God owns it all 2 Corinthians 5:15 Christ died for all of us. He died so we would no longer live for ourselves, but for the one who died and was raised to life for us.

It is something that will make many others thank God. The way in which you have proved yourselves by this service will bring honour and praise to God. You believed the message about Christ, and you obeyed it by sharing generously with God's people and with everyone else.
