Fannin Middle School 2010 - 2011 8 th Grade Girls Basketball Team Won The North Georgia Mountain League Basketball Championship 6 th Grade Students Wrote To Troops Chorus performed at the 9/11 Memorial for the Iron and Steel World Trade Center Dedication Ceremony in Washington, D.C. Fannin Middle Future Farmers of America: Ashlyn Mize placed 5 th in the state in the Junior division Six students attended the Leadership Discovery Conference Four students attended the state convention FFA had 45 members in its first year at FCMS Students competed in CDE’s in the areas of Floral Design, FFA Quiz, and Natural Resources Seven students attended Summer Leadership Camp
