13. EVANGELISM - (EUAGGELISTES), An evangelist, a bringer of good news. EU - good, well done and AGGELOS - a messenger.

15. It is the supernatural ability to effectively communicate the gospel and win the lost to Christ.

16. The male believer with this gift communicates the gospel in a manner that holds the unbeliever's attention.

17. His gift is designed to reach the unreachable with the gospel message.

18. Every evangelist must learn doctrine from his right Pastor-Teacher.

19. Often an evangelist will have a speaking talent that goes with his gift, but it is actually the gift that provides hearing from the unbeliever.

20. The man with this gift is sensational in his communication of the gospel to the unbeliever.

21. Jesus gave the "Great Commission" to the Apostles in order to evangelize the world, Acts 1:8; Mat 28:19-20; Eph 6:20. This work continues through all believers today.

22. Pastors do not have this gift, but they are mandated to do the work of an evangelist in 2 Tim 4:5.

23. General Service: 2 Cor 5:19-20; Col. 4:5-6; 1 Peter 3:15.

24. As Royal Ambassadors, every believer represents God before the human race and should personally witness for Christ and give the message of reconciliation as the opportunity presents itself.
