5.  Adidas was called this because a young sports fanatic named Adi started creating a hand sewn shoe. He set up a rival shop. He then decided he wanted to have a big business so he called it Adidas.

6. Adidas make a very large amount of money. They make$14.5 billion dollars a year.

7.  Adidas is a publicly traded company owned by it's shareholders. It was founded by Adolf Dassler in 1924. the headquarters is in Germany.

8. - Adidas is the parent company to many other brands including Reebok and Rockport.

9.  - Adidas is the largest sportswear manufacturers in Europe and the second biggest in the world.
