www.egi.euEGI-InSPIRE RI-261323 Other innovation activities UK 10 year strategy for e-infrastructure –E-infrastructure Leadership Council includes academia, industry and other bodies to advise government, chaired by Minister –Over £300M capital investment in past 18 months, budget of £1.1B to 2020

www.egi.euEGI-InSPIRE RI-261323 Summary The UK has a strong interest in Core e-Infrastructure Services. We have a strong record of achievement in a number of areas: –AAA Authentication, Authorisation, Accounting –Security Policy and Operations –GOCDB (what’s the word for this?) –Data Storage, Management, and Preservation UK has world-leading scientists in: Life Sciences, Earth Sciences, Astronomy, Physics, Medicine +… UK will be happy to partner with other NGIs in H2020 bids, either in the ‘EGI’ call or others..
