When do you use the Present Perfect?  You can make the present perfect by using: has/have + past participle  You use has in a sentence if the subject is he/she/it, otherwise you use have  We use the present perfect tense: - Something that started in the past and is still goes on - Something we have done several times in the past and are still doing it - When we are talking about our experience up to the present - Something that happened in the past but is important at the present

Examples  I have seen that movie twenty times.  I think I have met him once before.  There have been many earthquakes in California.  People have traveled to the Moon.  People have not traveled to Mars.  Have you read the book yet?  Nobody has ever climbed that mountain.  A: Has there ever been a war in the United States?  B: Yes, there has been a war in the United States.
