Origin Franz Kafka (1883-1924) was an Austro- Hungarian (currently Czechoslovakia) writer, who’s literature is described as magical realism and existential. His writings often included surreal ideas and situations presented to his characters

Usage in Sentences The psychedelic gave her a Kafkaesque feeling of foreboding, and she knew she would never want to take it again. The story had a Kafkaesque quality to it, but still wasn’t very good.
