Background Information Staff worked with SCLA on scope for North Park November 2010 - MF requests on hold for revisions August 2011 - SCLA provided the City a letter of commitment to participate in the cost of park amenities via Matching Funds in the amount of $92,700 Based on this commitment and favorable bids keeping project under budget, the amenities were installed during construction

Park Board & SPDC Recommendation Criteria Project is consistent with the overall intended use of the park per the adopted Master Plan Project meets the project criteria defined in the SPDC Matching Funds policy Linked to City’s Strategy Map and Focus Areas Related to current funded CIP project and 5-yr CIP Benefit Southlake residents Enhance current parks and recreation system asset Assist with acquisition of a capital purchase Has useful life of at least 5 years Accelerates completion of CIP or PROS-CF Master Plan project Funding is available in FY 2012 SPDC Matching Funds budget
