Definition of “soul-winner” The term “soul-winner” is used metaphorically for evangelism. To be a “soul-winner” refers to: The practice of teaching a lost sinner the good news about Christ. “he who wins souls is wise” Pr. 11:30

Why be a soul-winner? The Scriptures emphasize evangelism. Mt. 28:19-20; Mk. 16:15-16 The world is full of sin-sick souls. Rom. 3:23; 6:23; Mk. 2:17; Mt. 18:11 God desires all men to be saved. 1 Tim. 2:4; 2 Pet. 3:9; Ezek. 18:32 Christ died so men could be saved. Jn. 3:16-17; Rom. 5:6-11, Eph. 1:7-14

Some characteristics of a soul-winner. Follower of Jesus Christ. Jn. 1:35-42 Leads by example. Acts 1:1 Looks for opportunities to teach. Jn. 4:35; Acts 20:18-21; 1 Cor. 16:9 No respecter of persons. Acts 10:34 Leaves the results and glory to God. Acts 16:13-15; 1 Cor. 3:4-7

God’s Plan for Man’s Salvation!!! Hear the word of God. (Romans 10:17) Believe in Jesus Christ. (John 8:24) Repent of sin. (Acts 17:30) Confess Jesus Christ. (Matthew 10:32) Be baptized. (Acts 2:38) Remain faithful unto death. (Rev. 2:10)
