2 Lake Minatare is the smallest of the District’s elementary buildings Enrollment today is 68 compared to last year’s 65 students

3 Currently, 50% of our students qualify as Free or Reduced, which is the same as last year Lake Minatare Free/Reduced in 2013-14 was 50.79% 44.93% State Average

4 Last year, Lake Minatare’s Mobility Rate was 27% compared to a District rate of 19% and a State rate of 12% 86% White, 14% Hispanic There have been no significant changes in this area for the last 4 years We have 2 classrooms that are multi-grade 1 st /2 nd grades classroom 3 rd /4 th grades classroom These classrooms work with District Content Area Specialists to design curriculum that meets State Standard for both grades and flow appropriately to the next level.

7 Quality Teaching and Instructional Programming Continuing the Implementation of 2 nd Step and ACES programming 2 nd Step is a program designed to teach children social and emotional skills Addresses feeling recognition and coping Calming techniques Listening skills Conflict Resolution Reassigned staff to more efficiently serve students with special needs.

11 Teachers work closely together to create a family-friendly atmosphere Students raised $400.84 for Pennies for Patients Students raised over $1300 during Jump Rope for Heart Morning Meetings have been a huge success in articulating expectations and building unity Staff retention All staff (including para educators) returned this year to Lake Minatare!
