13 Children’s bodies are not strong enough to fight off disease.

14 Vaccines prevent many diseases that previously caused many child fatalities.

15 Thanks to vaccines, most children never have to suffer the misery of these illnesses or diseases…

17 What is a vaccine?

18 Vaccines contain parts of microbes or whole microbes that have been killed or weakened so that they don’t cause disease.

19 Vaccines are most commonly injected.

20 They can also be given by mouth

21 or by nasal spray.
