Introduction Farming, or agriculture, is the growing of crops and the raising of animals. In the UK, many different crops are grown and a variety of animals are raised.

Why do we have to learn about farming?
We must learn about farming because farm land takes up the largest amount of land in the UK. It is a massive industry and it was vital to the development of the UK.
