Recycler Status Injected 6 Booster batches and cleanly transferred to MI Slip Stacked 2 Booster batched and transferred to MI Calibrated tune, chromaticity, tune intensity offsets, and injection closure Commissioned LLRF and HLRF Commissioned available instrumentation Many aperture scans
4
MI Operating point Change (SY120) Design Current This change requires a retune of MI and Switchyard Currently we do not have instrumentation to measure extraction efficiency from MI to the P1 line The first instrumentation that can see the extracted beam is at F49
5
Operating Point Chance to RR Energy A RF frequency change of -1Khz (or ~ -19Mev) Will shift the tunes by ~ +.06 (currently the base tune is.38h.34v) Change will require a retune of Booster, MI8, MI, RR, and BooNE
6
Recycler Beam Scrubbing So far Vacuum has recovered Concerns of depleting TSPs, some vacuums sectors only have ~15 fires left
7
RR MI30 Lambertson Circulating Extracted Need to replace the Lambertson flanges and beam box to increase circulating aperture Lambertson PS need to support ~ 750A Need a different power supply Need more cable or need to ramp PS
