 Formerly the FRQ (Free Response Question)  This has a developed thesis which is more than one sentence  The APUSH Revision changed the way these essays are graded…  Grades are based on a 7 point rubric  I have uploaded this rubric to my.ccsd.net

 There is no thesis development in the answer; just get to the point  Each SAQ should be about 1 page in length  Each part of the SAQ should be its own paragraph (not just a sentence)  Don’t label each part (for example 1a., 1b., etc.). You can identify the question by its number but then just write the paragraphs.

 You will have 4 SAQs (short answer questions) on the AP Exam  You will have 45 minutes to complete ALL of them (that’s about 10 minutes per question)  You will get a maximum of 3 points for each SAQ (I’m pretty sure that’s how they are scored. Its still kinda unclear)

 These should be typed. You may double space if you like. I find that 1.5 is ideal (easiest for Toth to read)  Please title each summary by the NAME of the theme you are writing about: Identity, Peopling, Politics and Power, etc.  Please bold or highlight the vocab words so they are easy for me to identify

 If I circle something, it means I question it or that it is incorrect  If I underline something, that means it was well- said, it impressed me, etc.  “ref” refers to reference. So “good ref” means that was a good thing to put in (I was impressed)  If you ever can’t read my comments, just ask
