1. 3.15 Zebra Printer GK420T Installation 1.Only proceed the steps below when Zebra printer is necessary else skip this installation. Go to folder menu as shown below and select “GK420T” folder. 1

2. 2.Access the folder and execute the “zsu-v1191048” file as shown below. 1

3. 3.Then, execute the installation file and a pop-up will appear. Click Run. 1

4. 4.Then, just click “Next” to continue with the installation. 1

5. 5.Tick “I accept the terms of the license agreement” and click “Next” to continue. 1

6. 6.Click “Next” button to continue installation. 1

7. 7.Click “Next” button to continue installation 1

8. 8.New pop out box will appear as below. Click “Next” button to continue installation. 1

9. 9.Tick “I have read the information above” and click “Next” button 1

10. 10.Tick “Run Zebra Setup Utilities now” and click “Finish” 1

11. 11.Choose “Other computer ports…” and click “Next” button 1

12. 12.Click “Finish” to continue installation 1

13. 13.New pop out box will appear as below, click “Next” to continue installation 1

14. 14.Click “Install Printer” button 1

15. 15.Select “ZDesigner GK420t [EPL]” and click “Next” button 1

16. 16.Change the printer name to “ZDesigner GK420t”, Select “LPT1:” for the port installation and click ‘Next” button 1

17. 17.Click “Finish” to complete zebra printer installation 1

18. 18.Start up the “Zebra Setup Utilities” and click “Configure Printer Settings” 1

19. 19.Change Units = “cm”, Width = 5.4cm & Height = 3.5cm. Click “Next” button to continue 1

20. 20.Click “Next” button 1

21. 21.Change Media Type = Label with gaps & click “Next” button 1

22. 22.Click “Next” button 1

23. 23.Change KDU Country code = U.S.A & click “Next” button 1

24. 24.Click “Next” button 1

25. 25.Click “Finish” to complete printer utilities settings 1

26. 26.Go to Control Panel  Printer and Faxes  right click ZDesigner GK420t, click ‘Printing Preferences’  Go to Options tab  Select page format = cm, width = 5.4, height = 3.5, left = 0.10 1

27. 27.Go to Advanced Setup tab  select media type = Label with gaps 1

28. 28.Go to Stocks tab  Click “New…”  put name = OSRAM; check the options, dimensions & unprintable area are similar with settings on Options tab  click OK 1

29. 29.Go back to Options tab  change Stocks: OSRAM (created at figure 15.28) which to avoid users personally change the size & unprintable area settings 1 30.Zebra printing preference settings complete
