4. This course is NOT:  Computer games  Internet surfing for entertainment  Chat rooms, I.M., or e-mail.

6. Internet Usage All internet use must be an efficient use of HCPS equipment and network for educational uses. All non-class sites visited must be approved by Mr. Lineweaver

7. Java programming will cover:  Basic control structures :  Sequence  Selection  Single selection (if)  Double selection (if... else)  Multiple selection (switch)  Repetition  Counter controlled (for)  Sentinel controlled (while)

8.  Variable types  Graphics  Animation  Fractals  Applications & Applets

9. Rules Be on time. The tardy policy will be followed. Don’t stop me from teaching. Don’t stop someone else from learning From 1:18 until 2:52 you are mine and I want you here. Phones and music players: I don’t want to see them or hear them if you want to keep them.

10.  Grades will be based on points  The only material needed for the student is a notebook. There is no text and ALL quizzes are open notes. It is VERY important to be here, keep up with projects, and take good notes.
